Label the world and you lose it,
Name beauty and you create ugliness,
Claim goodness and there also is evil,
But accept death and you embrace life…
This is the way of the warrior.

I love this one, it’s awesome. Im analysing it right now… it is far deeper than it appears! The “Accept death and you embrace life” has given me something to think about… 😛

Thanks Kamazorn! The Samurai ethos as you may know was to live in the moment. This was necessary to be able to sacrifice themselves for their master but also enabled them to live a life full of intensity and passion and appreciation. Moments lived like this make the rest, dissected by labels and distinctions of prejudice – look artificial and half dead.

I have been looking for a good quote about life and death for a while now and haven’t been able to find one until now. I never comment on these things but that really struck a cord with me. Cheers

Glad you liked it Pete, every writer’s wish is for a reader to find meaning in his words.
