Knowledge

In the very beginning
I had no knowledge,
I did not even know
That I did not know,
Now all I can claim
Is that I know I do not know,
So let us begin.

If I only knew then, what I know now? Nicely done!

I love this. It is true that we must get to the point that we understand that we do not know anything, before we can begin. The older I get the more I know how little I know. No wonder people get forgetful when they are older….perhaps they are just in touch with the fact they don-t know anything. lol I am almost there! Great poem, succient and thought-provoking. Hugs, pat

I absolutely LOVE this! You didn’t need to go on and on and on to say something meaningful and profound! I find it so amazing how we realize how much we do not know, when we’ve spent so much time trying to find out all the things we do not know…if all I knew was everything! Nice job!

Very evocative. Brings forth thoughts of Socrates.
