New Eyes

So big – the world of a child,
With horizons that never end.
So sad we adults know so much
And think the world their oyster;
No juice left to suck, smacking lips
With delight

    Amen Mark! (every time I time that name I feel like I’m talking to my husband,lol.)
    Well said, I really enjoyed it. We take so much for granted and become jaded as we age, don’t we?! To see life as a child once again is what poets do, I think. Blessings, Terri

    Someone said you must become a a little child to see the kingdom of heaven.
