Giving up the labels we cling to –
our looks, our job , our family and name –
feels a lot like dying.
But it is only by giving up everything we think we are
That we can experience ultimate freedom.
Freedom from loss,
Freedom from fear itself…

With pieces like this, I can see why your blog is subtitled zen thoughts. Thanks for sharing this one for the rally.

It can be so hard to give up the labels. Often we just exchange them for new ones.

Yes, we have to shed those labels to truly know ourselves. It sure does feel like losing one’s skin though – after all, they are all we have known. Thank you for sharing!
